This is a Short Notice in Time, But So Important!
We are asking for Art Supplies and other items for our New Mexico School for the Deaf on Hermosa Dr. NE.
Because they are not on a main Hodgin street, I feel they sometimes get overlooked. We need to remember to help them as much as we can, especially during the Holidays.
Angela Corona, the principal, told me they have 40 students from 18 months to 6 years and also a doting staff of 25.
I will once again have a box on my porch at 3916 Douglas MacArthur NE and we have until Monday, December 16, to FILL IT UP WITH GOODIES, not only for the kids but teachers & other staff too.
Some ideas: Puzzles, markers, crayons, pipe cleaners, wiggly eyes, pom poms, feathers,
colorful popsicle sticks, ribbons, Elmer’s School Glue. AND Teachers can use almost anything!!!
